A man and woman from Windsor are facing several charges after fleeing police from the scene of a break and enter in Chatham-Kent.

Police say they responded to a break and enter in progress on Finn Line around 6:45 p.m. Sunday.

The homeowner discovered the pair called police, and proceeded to follow the suspect vehicle.

Police located the vehicle and a pursuit ensued approaching Blenheim.

The suspect vehicle came to a stop after a stop stick was deployed and the van struck a police cruiser.

Through an investigation, police learned that the van was stolen and full of stolen property.

The driver, a 35-year-old Windsor woman has been charged with several property related and driving offences. Her passenger, a 28-year-old Windsor man has also been charged with property related offences.

No one was injured. Significant damage was caused to both the van and cruiser
