A Windsor man is facing several charges after allegedly slamming into a number of parked cars in Leamington.
Police say around 8:15 pm Sunday, a 2007 Dodge Ram pick up was travelling west on Point Pelee Drive at a high rate of speed when it lost control and struck five parked vehicles and a hydro power pole.
The impact caused a power outage.
There were no injuries and there is no damage estimate at this time.
Martin Klassen, 63, was arrested at the scene and is facing the following charges:
- Drive a Motor Vehicle While Ability Impaired
- Drive a Motor Vehicle With Blood Alcohol in Excess of 80 Milligrams
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Fail to Remain at the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Collision
He will be appear in court in on September 16th.
