Windsor Public Library is moving forward with changes as a result of alleged live streaming of sex shows that took place at two branch locations.
At the Tuesday evening board meeting, board members decided to move forward with plans to rearrange furniture to improve sight lines.
“We are making the changes as rapidly as we can and in the meantime our staff is out on the floor making sure that inappropriate behavior is not occurring," says library chair Peter Frise.
Staff will now be making more rounds through the library to ensure all patrons feel comfortable.
The library has aligned all of its IT operations with the City of Windsor's to provide stronger filters on library computers, blocking users from going to "inappropriate" web sites.
These changes will take place at all library branches in the city.
Work is already underway on these changes and the board hopes it is completed in the next few weeks.
