Windsor police seized a handgun and about $4,100 in marijuana and cocaine after a Shepherd Street raid on Monday.

The WPS drugs and guns unit obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 1000 block of Shepherd Street and entered around 5 p.m.

Officers found two people inside the home, who were arrested without incident.

They also found a loaded .45 calibre pistol containing eight rounds of ammunition, which was seized. Police also seized a large quantity of cash, 398 grams of marijuana and 1 gram of cocaine.

A 23-year-old Windsor man is facing two charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and eight charges related to the possession of the firearm and ammunition.

A 22-year-old Windsor man is facing three charges related to the possession of the firearm and one charge of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
