A traffic note for if you plan to take in the Ford Fireworks, or just happen to be downtown on Monday night.
Starting at 6 p.m., roads north of Wyandotte Street between the Ambassador Bridge and Devonshire Road will be closed to vehicles.
Also a no-stopping zone for sections of Glengarry Street, Aylmer Street, McDougall Avenue and Victoria Avenue will be in affect from Monday at noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday morning.
Strict enforcement as police they say violators will be towed.
Bicyclists are asked to refrain from riding in areas where there are crowds.
Bike parking will be available at Charles Clark Square from 7 p.m. Monday evening until 11:30 p.m.
Free bus service will operate from Devonshire Mall to the downtown from 6 p.m. until 9:30 p.m., with return service starting at the conclusion of the fireworks which are set to begin at 9:55 p.m.
The rain date is scheduled for Tuesday.
