Essex OPP report a 58-year-old man is in hospital with serious burns following a fire in Lakeshore.
The victim is recovering from burns to his upper body and is listed in serious condition.
Lakeshore fire was called out to the 700 block of Lakeshore Road 115, just north of Highway 401, at 7 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters extinguished a field fire approximately 150 feet long by 20 feet wide.
It's unclear what started the blaze.
