The Essex Region Conservation Authority issued a Flood Warning Saturday.
According to the ERCA in a release, "winds blowing out of the north/northeast at 30 to 35 kph that Lake Erie has been set up and has wave damage and has flood water over portions of road surfaces of the area of south/east Leamington from Wheatley to north of Hillman Marsh."
Flooded road surfaces in certain areas may be significantly deep and should not be considered safe to drive through.
The Warning remains in effect until such time as the wind conditions subside.
