Essex voters re-elect mayor Ron McDermott

Ron McDermott has been re-elected as the mayor of Essex.

McDermott earned 2,619 votes, defeating Ron Rogers with 2,392 votes, according to unofficial results released by the town.

There was a 53.82 per cent turnout in Essex, with 7,928 of 14,731 residents casting a ballot.
