Windsor police say an elderly woman was hit by a garbage truck on Central Avenue.
The incident took place around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday morning at Central Avenue and Temple Drive. Police say the pedestrian might have broken her hip.
The southbound lanes of Central Avenue were blocked after the collision.
