A male teenager is dead following a single-vehicle crash near Chatham.
It happened around 3:15 a.m. Saturday.
A vehicle with four young passengers was travelling at a high rate of speed on Middle Line when it left the roadway.
The vehicle crashed through a fenced compound on Charing Cross Road and hit a large snow blower.
An 18 year old man was found with no vital signs.
He was transported to hospital but died upon arrival.
The other passengers were also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 17 year old male driver also suffered non-life threatening injuries.
He was arrested and charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Death and Fail to Provide Breath Sample.
He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The investigation continues.
