After 45 years of serving all-day breakfast in downtown Windsor, Elias' Deli is closing its doors for good.
Restaurant owner Elias "Louie" Sleiman confirmed its final day of operation will be this Friday.
Sleiman opened the eatery on Ouellette Avenue in 1968, where it has remained family owned and operated for more than four decades.
Sleiman is an honourary member of the Windsor Police Association.
He is now 73 years old. He's closing the downtown staple so he can enjoy retirement.
