A 60-year-old London man has been charged with operating a radar detector after getting pulled over on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.
A Chatham-Kent OPP officer was on general patrol on Highway 401 near Orford Road on Monday at 8:30 p.m., when he saw a vehicle committing a traffic violation.
The vehicle was stopped and upon further investigation, the London man was charged with driving a motor vehicle with a speed measuring warning device.
The set fine for this offence is $140 with total payable of $170 and three demerit points.
