Windsor police are investigating after Assumption Catholic High School was evacuated on Friday morning.
The WECDSB said in a statement posted on their Facebook page that “All students and staff are safe and have been moved to Century Secondary School as a precaution.”
However, many students opted to go home for the day.
Fire crews, police and EMS were all at the scene on Huron Church Road Friday morning.
Windsor police are leading the investigation were allowing anyone on or near the property.
Shortly before 2 p.m. students were allowed to return to Assumption, according to the WECDSB.
