The University of Windsor Students’ Alliance has started hosting weekly farmers’ markets on campus.
The market offers students, community, faculty and staff fresh and locally grown food and crafts.
The alliance says it is a cost-neutral initiative launched by students. It is run entirely by students volunteers and features live acoustic music.
So far, over a dozen vendors have signed up and the UWSA is accepting applications for more.
The market operates in the CAW Student Courtyard area every Thursday rain or shine, starting Thursday through Oct. 17, from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
