Windsor police are reminding the public about road closures and restricted areas for the Ford International Fireworks along the Windsor-Detroit riverfront.

The 58th annual fireworks are scheduled to blast off tonight at 9:48pm.

There will restricted access to the downtown Windsor area beginning at 6 p.m.

If you park in the restricted areas after 6 p.m., you will not be able to leave until after the fireworks, when pedestrian traffic clears and the roads open again.

The City of Windsor is providing free bus transit throughout the city, except for the tunnel bus.
