A man is dead after his dirt bike collided with the side of a jeep in east Windsor Sunday night.
Windsor police were called to Eastlawn Avenue and Riverside Drive East around 10:30 p.m. A black Jeep Wrangler was travelling west along Riverside, when it made a left hand turn onto Eastlawn. That’s when police say an eastbound dirt bike collided with the side of the jeep.
Investigators say the dirt bike was not equipped with a light and the driver wasn’t wearing a helmet when the collision occurred.
The 32-year-old dirt bike rider succumbed to his injuries. The 37-year-old driver of the jeep was transported to hospital and was treated for a shoulder injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
