A Chatham man is going to jail for luring and making sexually explicit material available to a person under 16 years old.
Shannon Mathewson, 45, pleaded guilty on Sept. 12.
A judge sentenced him to 30 days in jail. He was also given an 18-month probation order and must register as a sex offender.
The internet child exploitation unit arrested Mathewson in April as part of an investigation into the possession and distribution of child pornography using telecommunication devices.
