Windsor police are looking for a suspect after two men were allegedly assaulted within hours of each other in separate incidents in Windsor’s west end.
Police say each similar descriptions of the suspect were provided in each complaint.
An 18-year-old male told police he was walking in the 700 block of Felix Avenue at 4:45 a.m. on Monday. The complainant heard footsteps approaching him and turned to see a man closing ground on him.
The victim crossed the street and the male followed him. Police say the suspect grabbed the victim by the shoulders and neck, pulled him in and kissed him. After a brief struggle, the victim fell to the ground and the suspect fled on foot.
The second incident was in the area of College Avenue and Bridge Avenue at about 6 a.m. A 37-year-old man felt like he was being followed. He turned to see the suspect a few feet behind him.
Police say the suspect grabbed the victim by the shoulders and pulled him in close. The victim reacted quickly and struck the suspect with a closed fist in the face. He was last seen fleeing towards College Avenue.
The suspect was described by both victims as a white man, 5'11"-6'1" and about 25-30 years old. He had a medium to muscular build, short brown hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a royal blue winter jacket with a hood.
