Windsor police have released the name of the suspect wanted after a man was shot in the leg in a downtown alley.
A warrant was issued for Nicholas McCullough, 22, from Windsor. Police say he is wanted for aggravated assault and numerous firearm related charges in relation to the shooting.
The incident took place on Sept. 28 at about 1 a.m. Officers were dispatched to Park Street West between Ouellette Avenue and Pelissier Street.
Police say a 30-year-old male was shot in the leg three times in the alley just north of Park Street West.
Through the investigation officers identified a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. They are asking anyone with information to call the police.
The man is considered armed and dangerous so police say do not approach him.
