Organ donor rates up in Windsor-Essex

The number of registered organ donors in Windsor and Essex County is on the rise.

According to beadonor.ca, 26 per cent of the Windsor population has registered. That’s up 10 per cent compared to five years ago.

Windsor is ranked 163^rd out of 179 Ontario communities.

In Essex County, registration is at 38 per cent.  That places the county in 88^th in the province.
