A 57-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman are facing assault charges after a stabbing downtown Windsor.
The incident took place in the 300 block of Glengarry Avenue on Monday.
Windsor police say investigation has revealed that the man and woman knew each other and they had been involved in an earlier fight. Both were arrested and charged.
The 57-year-old male, of Windsor, was charged with aggravated assault and the 34-year-old female, also from Windsor, was charged with assault with a weapon and breach of probation.
A 24-year-old male from Windsor that witnessed the incident was also charged with breach of probation. All were released on promise to appear notices.
The woman remains in hospital where she is recovering from non-life threatening injuries.
