Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, Huron-Perth & Grey, Bruce.

From the service:

"An intensifying disturbance over Oklahoma is setting its sights on southern Ontario. The low pressure centre is forecast to reach southern Indiana Sunday afternoon as the first of the heavier snow reaches southwestern Ontario. The heavier snow will overspread most other warned regions in the evening before tapering off overnight Sunday night after the low crosses southern Ontario.

Snowfall amounts of 15 to locally 20 centimeters are expected from this latest wintery punch from old man winter. There is also a risk of some freezing rain Sunday night for some locales to the southeast of Georgian bay. Also, some blowing snow may be expected Sunday night for regions east of Lake Huron as winds pick up out of the northwest.

Motorists are advised to use caution if traveling across the region later on Sunday and Sunday night due to accumulating snow and reduced visibility in falling snow."
