As CTV News first reported Thursday night, a new deadline is being imposed by administration in the ongoing contract negotiations between the University of Windsor and its faculty.

Windsor University Faculty Association president Anne Forrest says if they don't get a deal by Monday at midnight, administration will take five actions against members

The university says it will stop contributions to pensions and health care premiums. They will also stop collecting WUFA dues from member pay cheques.

In addition, the university says the grievance and arbitration process will no longer be in effect and they won't honour any claims for professional development.

Forrest says they are surprised, as they thought talks were going well. She now describes them as grim.
