You won’t be seeing the town of LaSalle involved in regional policing anytime soon.
LaSalle Council voted unanimously to not entertain the idea of amalgamating their police service with that of Windsor’s.
The City of Windsor was looking to join its police force with Amherstburg and LaSalle in favour of a regional force.
Amherstburg has been considering options for its police service, and it’s unclear whether LaSalle’s decision be a road block for Windsor.
