Windsor's newest resident didn't take long to come into the world.

The newest member of the Galperin family was born 11 days overdue at 7 pounds 4 ounces, at 12:07 a.m.

This is rabbi Sholon Galperin and his wife, Rivca's fifth child.

"The baby came out. It wasn't waiting for no one," says rabbi Galperin.

The first newborn of 2015 in our region has yet to be named.

In the Jewish religion, it's customary to wait 8 days after a baby boy is born where he will be circumcised then named.

"It's a joy you can't really explain. It's overwhelming happiness that any parent can ever have," adds Galperin.
