TORONTO -- A batch of Heinz brand baby food is being recalled across the country due a potential loss of the container seal, which could cause the product to spoil.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning against the consumption of Heinz brand chicken with broth infant food sold in 100 ml containers.

The affected products carry best before dates of Sept. 26, 2016 and Dec. 12, 2016.

The CFIA says consumption of spoiled food could lead to an upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea.

It says there have been no reported illnesses associated with the recalled infant food to date.
