Chatham-Kent police have laid drug charges against for men after a search of a home on Woods Street in Chatham on Wednesday.

Four men were found in the residence at the time of the search and were arrested.

A subsequent search of the men as well as the residence resulted in the seizure of drugs, digital scales and packaging material.

The total street value of the drugs seized is estimated at $6,300.

A 46-year-old Chatham man has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of drug possession. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

A 24-year-old Chatham man was charged with two counts of drug possession and two counts of failing to comply with release conditions and was released pending a future court date.

A 28-year-old and a 31-year-old Chatham man have each been charged with one count of drug possession and were released pending a future court date.
