Chatham-Kent police have arrested and charged a 20-year-old Walpole Island man with attempted murder.
The charge relates to a disturbance around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday at a residence on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.
There was an altercation between two men who were known to each other that resulted in a 19-year-old man being transported to a local hospital with life-threatening head injuries.
He has since been transferred to a London hospital where he remains in critical condition
The suspect is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
