A 73-year-old Windsor man was sent to hospital with serious injuries when his motorcycle collided with a farm vehicle in Chatham-Kent.
The crash took place shortly after 12 p.m. Wednesday afternoon on Rivard Line between Townline Road and Jacob Road in Dover Township.
Chatham-Kent police say a 37-year-old Chatham man was driving a seed corn cutter eastbound on Rivard Line when the motorcyclist attempted to pass him.
The Chatham man turned left into a field and collided with the motorcycle. He has been charged with making a turn not in safety.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken by ambulance to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. The driver of the farm machinery was not injured.
Total damages are estimated at $3,000.
