The trial for the Shores of Erie Wine Festival is now delayed until the new year.,
The corporation of the festival has pleaded not guilty for failing to inspect identification and for allowing a minor to drink at the 2014 event.
A volunteer at the event, 18-year-old Emily Bernauer of Amherstburg, was killed in a single-vehicle collision on her way home. Police say the autopsy showed she had alcohol and marijuana in her system.
Former Festival Director Kelly O'Rourke was on the stand Friday in provincial offences court.
She testified they had a policy to identify anyone who looked to be under the age of 35 before allowing them to drink
Previous testimony has heard Bernauer was not asked for I-D at least twice when she purchased wine tokens
The trial is will resume on January 24, 2017.
