Chatham-Kent police are looking for a suspect after a variety store robbery Sunday night.
Police responded to Sterling Variety on Park Street in Chatham around 6 p.m.
Police say the suspect entered the store wearing a light coloured cloth over their face and demanded money while threatening the clerk with a weapon. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not injured and there was no one else in the store at the time of the incident.
Police describe the suspect as 5’5”, about 150 pounds, with brown eyes. Surveillance video shows a person wearing a light grey hoodie with a black emblem on the front and a red emblem on the left arm, black jogging pants, white running shoes with a black stripe on the heel and black gloves.
