Three people were taken to hospital after a car smashed through the front window of the Royal Bank on Huron Church Road.
It happened in the 1600 block of Huron Church around 11 a.m.
Windsor police say the injuries are minor.
"Considering what happened, we're just lucky no one was seriously injured as a result of the accident," says Const. Andrew Drouillard.
Margaret Corio, regional vice president of RBC Windsor-Essex, says no staff members were injured.
“The staff are all fine,” says Corio. “They're a little shaken up of course, but we're very fortunate the branch wasn't as busy as it usually is. It could have been far worse."
