A 22-year-old Tilbury man has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle over 80 and dangerous operation of a vehicle after a collision with a police cruiser.
Chatham-Kent police were trying to stop a Ford pickup truck about 2:30 a.m. Saturday on St. Clair Street in Tilbury.
The driver turned the vehicle around and it came into contact with a second cruiser.
There was minor damage to the vehicles involved and nobody was injured.
The man was arrested and taken to a cell. He has since been released.
