St. Clair College will have a new leader this fall.

The new president is Patti France, the college announced on Thursday.

France has over 25 years’ experience in the post-secondary education sector.

Over the past decade, France has experienced direct responsibility, at some point, for key College components.  As senior vice president of college operations, France had direct responsibility for academic operations and has chaired numerous college committees.

She will be the school’s sixth president.

France will officially take over on Sept. 1, when John Strasser retires.
