Chatham-Kent police are still looking for a missing 66-year-old man who might have slipped into the Thames River.
Police say it appears the 66-year-old Chatham-Kent resident went looking for his dog Sunday night and may have slipped into the river.
Officers say extensive ground and river searches were conducted all day Monday. Chatham-Kent police say they will continue to search the river for the missing man today.
Officers say their search efforts are focused along the Thames River. Chatham-Kent Police has deployed its marine unit to assist.
At the request of the family, police are not releasing any names in regard to this investigation.
Police are also renewing the request to give the family time to deal with this situation.
