Essex County OPP say a 44-year-old Windsor man fell from Lambton Street overpass on the Highway 401 Tuesday night.
Police say the man was killed on Highway 401 near its intersection with the Lambton Street/Grand Marais Road West overpass at about 10:40 p.m.
Investigation revealed that the man fell from the overpass, landing in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 and was subsequently struck by a passing motorist.
OPP are still looking to speak to anyone who may have been in this area last evening and specifically the driver or occupants of a light brown van or Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that was observed in the vicinity at the time and may or may not have been involved.
Foul play is not suspected pertaining to the fall from the overpass, police say.
