Chatham-Kent police and fire officials are investigating an act of arson in Wallaceburg.
Shortly before 7:00 pm Saturday, emergency crews were called to an unoccupied house at 104 Brander Ave.
The fire was quickly extinguished.
Damage is estimated to be in the area of $5000 - $7000.
The blaze is believed to be arson and the investigation is continuing.
There were no injuries or damage to neighbouring properties.
