To assist with the cost trauma services bring, local EMS teamed up with other area agencies for Hats for Healthcare.
Windsor-Essex EMS launched this year’s campaign Thursday at the new station in Tecumseh. This years' campaign will support the trauma departments at Windsor Regional Hospital.
It costs $20-billion to pay for trauma services in Canada each year.
On Feb. 12 residents are asked to donate and wear a hat to support the hospital.
