A woman is dead, following a fatal crash Sunday night in Chatham-Kent.
Chatham-Kent police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Union Line near Prince Albert Road just after 9 p.m. on Sunday.
Authorities say a grey 2006 Pontiac G6 was travelling southwest on Union Line, and appeared to have lost control – striking a bridge railing on the north side of the road.
The driver, a 25-year-old woman from Dresden, was pronounced dead at the scene. A two-year-old child was transported to hospital and later released.
Family has requested officers not to release the name of the deceased.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management unit is investigating and asking anyone with information to contact officers.
