The Chatham-Kent police criminal investigations unit is on scene after a body was found in the Thames River in downtown Chatham.
Police received a call about 9 a.m. Saturday indicating a body had been discovered.
The Chatham-Kent fire department and the police community patrol, as well as a coroner are all involved. Police say it is too early to determine if foul play is suspected.
