Expansion is on the way for Windsor’s Hiram Walker & Sons Limited.

The bottling facility will receive a total $9 million investment that will allow the facility to produce new products and increase production.

The investment also means production of McGuinness and Meaghers liquors will now happen in the Rose City.

Approximately 250 people work at the plant and are expected to retain their jobs.

The provincial government is lending $1-million to the overall investment from the Ontario Government’s Rural Economic Development Program.

The new production line is expected to roll out by fall of this year, once new equipment is installed in the facility.
