Windsor police are expected to distribute personal GPS alarms to help protect victims of domestic violence.
The police service is getting seven units, roughly the size of a small pager. The province paid for the units at a cost of nearly $8,000.
Police will make the alarms available on Friday, which is the national day of remembrance and action on violence against women.
