Windsor's mayor is hoping the momentum of the International Children's Games might land the city another big sporting event.
Mayor Eddie Francis is looking into bidding for the 2014 Ontario Summer Games.
Francis says a few weeks ago he was doing research online when he discovered that the bid city for 2014 had backed out of hosting the event.
The event hosts 3,500 athletes, more than double the size of the ICG.
Toronto hosted the games in 2012 and the economic impact is estimated to be between $3.5 million to $4.5 million.
