Emergency crews were called to two separate crashes on Highway 3 on Monday.
Leamington fire says two people were transported to Leamington District Memorial Hospital after a collision involving a cement truck and a vehicle on Highway 3 west to Ruthven.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries say police.
Highway 3 was closed between Essex County Road 34 and Essex County Road 31, but reopened by mid-afternoon.
The motoring public is asked to avoid the area until cleanup can be completed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Earlier Monday, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 3 and Walker Road. The intersection was closed, but has since reopened.
