Windsor police have released the name of a suspect wanted in connection to a pharmacy robbery last week.

Police say Zolton Zoldi, 23, from Windsor is wanted for robbery with violence and possession of stolen property.

Officers were called to the Hunter Pharmacy located in the 3000 block of Tecumseh Road East  on Friday May 13, at about 6:30 p.m.

Investigation revealed two males went in the front door and ordered the five employees to the ground. 

Police say one man was armed with a handgun and they stole a quantity of narcotics. 

The two exited the rear door and fled in a dark blue, mid-sized vehicle.  The vehicle was later located and towed. 

 Detectives and investigators continued to investigate the evidence and tips, including obtaining video surveillance from a number of locations. 

Through the investigation they were able to positively identify one of the suspects believed to be involved in the incident. 

They also learned that the vehicle involved in the robbery was allegedly stolen. 

A warrant has now been issued for the suspect.

Investigators continue to look into the incident and the identity of the second suspect. 

Police remind the public that the suspects may be armed and dangerous and members of the general public have no authority to detain these suspects.
