Four people have been arrested after a variety store robbery in central Windsor.
It happened early Monday morning in the 1500 block of Parent Avenue around 3:30 a.m.
Officers say they spoke with the 50-year-old victim, who was visibly upset. He told police two men entered the store with guns and ordered the victim to lie on the floor. A small amount of cash and cigarettes were taken, according to police.
The victim suffered a bruised and swollen left eye.
The men fled the scene, first on foot and then in a waiting vehicle.
Police found two vehicles in the 2700 block of Howard Avenue and arrested four men in connection with the robbery.
One of the suspects was 27 years and the other three were 21 years old. All of them are from Windsor.
Police seized the involved vehicles and took them to police headquarters. Officers have applied for search warrants to look for weapons and other evidence.
