Pedestrian dead following motor vehicle collision in Windsor

A pedestrian has died after a collision with a vehicle on Saturday.

The Windsor Police Service responded to the intersection of Lauzon Parkway and Forest Glade Drive just after 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Officers said it was determined that a vehicle going eastbound on Forest Glade Drive hit a pedestrian crossing the street.

The 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver remained on scene.
