Pedestrian dead following motor vehicle collision in Windsor

A pedestrian has died after a collision with a vehicle on Saturday.
The Windsor Police Service responded to the intersection of Lauzon Parkway and Forest Glade Drive just after 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Officers said it was determined that a vehicle going eastbound on Forest Glade Drive hit a pedestrian crossing the street.
The 43-year-old woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver remained on scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 519-945-9645. Anonymous tips can also be sent to Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 or online.
