Chatham-Kent police have released the identity of a woman killed in a single vehicle collision near Dresden Thursday morning.
Police say that Stephanie Hardy, 33, of Dresden was travelling eastbound on Countryview Line when her vehicle left the road striking a tree and then ended up in a ditch.
Hardy was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash took place on Countryview Line between Centre Side Road and Lindsay Road around 9 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police say that the collision remains under invesitgation, anyone with information is urged to contact them at 519-355-1092.
