Chatham-Kent police say over $8,000 in electronics and other items were stolen during a break-in on King Street East.

Police say sometime over the weekend, unknown suspect(s) forced their way into the home.

Stolen items include a black MacBook, 55’ Toshiba LCD TV, Xbox 360 and games, Dyson fan, set of Ping golf clubs with Taylor driver and 3 wood, 20v cordless drill, silver iPod, silver Swatch watch and gold St. Mary’s high school football ring.  Assorted clothing and US currency was also stolen. 

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $8000.
