Provincial police have released the names of two people killed after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 3 Wednesday night.
The two deceased persons are identified as Wayne Babcock, 44, of Windsor and Leslie Kiss, 57 of Lakeshore.
Police say both men were passengers in the third row of a Honda Odyssey van that was travelling westbound on Highway 3 just west of Morse Road, when it lost control and flipped near Leamington.
The OPP, Leamington Fire Service as well as Windsor- Essex Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the crash at approximately 5:20 p.m.
Four other occupants of the van, one male and two females, all of Windsor, sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries in the crash. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
One other occupant, a male also from Windsor, walked away from the crash without injuries.
Traffic collision investigators spent several hours investigating the cause of the crash while the road was closed.
Police say the investigation, as well as the possibility of charges, is ongoing.
